My 1-1 Tuitions are very client-based, and tailored to suit each and everyones skill levels!
So if your shooting everything on AUTO……but wish to be in control of every aspect of your photography, I can help you master FULLY MANUAL.
REMEMBER…On AUTO, the camera controls YOU…….On MANUAL, YOU control the camera, making it possible to be much more creative with your photography and get the shots that YOU want and NOT what the camera dictates!
Trust me, it is so much more rewarding when you gat a nice image where YOU have been in control of every element in its making!
My reviews speak for themselves but just to add I am extremely patient, I explain things in easy terminology, demonstrate techniques and then get you doing them, you can ask me anything your not sure about at any time, and I will subtly “test” your progress throughout the day, therefore making sure that I know your understanding everything and at same time will get you thinking, and therefore make the info “stick” in your head more!

I’ve practising Wildlife photography for a couple of years now but seemed to struggle with sharp wildlife images and to get images that I was happy with. I didn’t have the confidence to shoot in manual mode however I spent a few hours with Mal as my mentor, showing me the way with manual mode and I managed to come back with some cracking shots. I’ve had my camera for a few years now but have been wanting to use it to its maximum potential but I found the self learning difficult. I use to work with Mal years back and knew he was a very experienced photographer with a passion for wildlife so when I saw that he was offering tuition I knew he would be the perfect person to learn from.
We met at a local nature reserve and Mal showed me how to set up the perfect spot with tips on how to attract the birds and how to get the best background for the shots. Mal then helped me get the best shot by talking through all the different camera settings whilst I played with the camera along with lots of useful hints and tips. These nuggets of information are invaluable and all come from his personal experience of photography.
Mal is a friendly guy with a great sense of humour, he is very relaxed and makes you feel at ease with the camera. He does a great job of keeping things simple, he doesn’t overload you with technical jargon and goes along at your pace. I can’t wait for our next session which will be at a hide and we will watch the wildlife and continue to play with the camera and learn new skills. Here is one of the shots that Mal helped me to perfect today!
What can I say about Mal Gee from Wild Lens Images,an absolute fantastic day out,such patience and understanding for everyone from beginners to those more experienced, learnt more in one day than 5 weeks at college, dealt with Exposure,ISO and f-stop,plus other settings and what each one does that affects the others and how such small adjustments can make so much difference to your photos..Great 1-2-1 session today at Middleton Lakes RSPB reserve, can’t wait for my next time out with you…my photography has improved so much since meeting you….thanks so much again for a great day out..
